About the role

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, we surpassed $3B in revenue in our last fiscal year with extensive growth potential ahead. At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed. We're not just any public company – we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors. As a Work Anywhere company, we support your flexibility to work from home or in the office, so you can thrive in your ideal environment. Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.

The Role

Help shape an emerging Veeva product and lead the engineering team’s product priorities from idea through launch.

Link Key Accounts helps life sciences teams understand healthcare organizations and identify the people who influence access to treatment. As Product Owner, you’ll work closely with the Product Lead, engineering, design, and data teams to turn customer needs into capabilities that make a difference.

This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership: you’ll influence what we build, guide how we deliver it, and work directly with customers to understand its impact. You’ll tackle challenges spanning AI-powered insights, healthcare data, and intuitive workflows—with room to grow as the product expands.

What You'll Do

  • Lead product delivery for the engineering team, setting clear priorities and taking features from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Translate customer needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, making thoughtful trade offs across value, usability, and technical complexity
  • Partner with engineering, design, and data teams to build intuitive features from complex healthcare information, including medical claims data
  • Help develop AI-powered capabilities, collaborating on prompts, evaluation, and the quality of customer-facing outputs
  • Use product analytics and customer feedback to measure success, improve adoption, and guide what we build next
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their workflows, validate ideas, and refine newly released features

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager delivering software products
  • Experience owning a backlog, prioritizing work, and partnering closely with engineers to ship features
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, actionable requirements
  • Technical fluency: you’re comfortable discussing APIs, data flows, and implementation tradeoffs with engineering
  • Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working across teams
  • Curiosity about customer problems and a willingness to learn a complex industry
  • A technical degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience building SaaS products in healthcare or life sciences
  • Experience delivering AI-powered features, including prompt design or evaluation
  • Familiarity with US medical claims or other complex healthcare datasets
  • Experience supporting life sciences commercial, market access, or key account management teams

Interviewing with Veeva

We value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process. Here is the process you can expect.

  • Follow the application process and submit your resume.
  • Within 3 days, you will receive a link to a personality assessment administered by a third party.
  • Once you complete the assessment, our team will review your full application package and follow up via email with our decision.
  • If moving to the interview stage, the process is as follows:
    1. A conversation with the hiring manager
    2. A practical case exercise
    3. A final conversation with our group's Senior Leader.
  • Once all interviews are complete, the manager will be in touch with a final decision.

Compensation

  • Total compensation: 84,000 - 125,000 EUR
  • The total compensation range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential total compensation range for this role. Please note that actual total compensation may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position's total compensation may be composed of other types of compensation, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
