About Studley Castle

A 19TH CENTURY CASTLE HOTEL WITH A 21ST CENTURY OUTLOOK

Discover a unique destination with its roots in its Victorian past, but its eye is very much on the here and now. Restore your glow in the award-winning spa, unwind in serene lounges or explore Kenilworth Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds.

Studley Castle’s story began in 1834 when Francis Lyttleton Holyoake, High Sheriff of Warwickshire, enlisted architect Samuel Beazley to design it and lavish it with Gothic Revival architecture. It was a grand family home for 70 years, then a women’s agricultural college and training camp for the Women’s Land Army during the two World Wars. In 2006, the building was converted to a country hotel, which we acquired in 2016, before unveiling its ambitious transformation.
